Description: A diesel tanker carrying approximately 35,000 litres of fuel caught fire near Ner village on the Surat–Nagpur Highway in Dhule district, Maharashtra, on July 16. The tanker was travelling from Jamnagar, Gujarat, to Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. The driver safely escaped after noticing the fire. Firefighters from Dhule Municipal Fire Department, assisted by two fire tenders, worked to bring the blaze under control. The incident caused a major traffic disruption on the highway and resulted in significant financial losses. No casualties were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
